Tiivistelmä
Tämän opinnäytetyön aiheena on muutostilanteiden vaikutus työhyvinvointiin. Tulosten perusteella voidaan sanoa, että jokaisen teeman vastaukset olivat paremmalla tasolla kuin viisi vuotta sitten teetetyssä kyselyssä The topic of this thesis explores how situations of change impact the well-being of employees at work. The thesis was commissioned by company X and commenced in Spring 2021 with a unit of approximately 230 employees initially being examined. Quantitative research methods were used to conduct the study, and observe how changes to the working environment, affected the well-being of work personnel. The theoretical part of the thesis discussed the definition of well-being in the work context, as well as the contributing factors to well-being at work. It also examined: the role of supervisors in the work community, the flow of information, employer image, contributing factors to motivation, and coping at work. Additionally, this section explored how change affected the work environment. A survey conducted in 2016 by Hermes Project in collaboration with University of Vaasa & Lappeenranta University of Technology was used primarily to back the thesis. The two saw only minor differences in results. The same Company X used in Spring 2021, was used by Hermes Project in 2016, allowing the two sets data to be compared and the resulting change in impact to be measured. The results of the thesis survey demonstrated how changes to the work environment had impacted the well-being of personnel at work. Overall, the results showed that the response rate to each theme had improved, compared to the survey commissioned five years ago.
