HOW DOES CHINA’S SPORTS INDUSTRY DRIVE ITS RELEVANT INDUSTRIES AND FURTHER PULL THE WHOLE NATIONAL ECONOMY

Abstract

Sports industry has played a more and more important role in China’s economic development, and the role will be more influential in the future. This thesis researches the real impact brought by the sports industry development on China’s economy, including its contribution in value, employment and pulling of other industries. Two industrial theories will be used, which are the industrial relevance theory and industrial structure theory. Data collected from authoritative resources will be used help analysis. Some suggestions on Chinese sports industry development will be demonstrated as well.
