This thesis investigated the psychological effects of prolonged gaming sessions on player performance for professional esports management applications. Through analysis of survey responses from 100 participants, the research examined relationships between extended gaming periods and cognitive resource depletion, centrally regarding motivation and focus capabilities. The survey results demonstrated consistent patterns of decreased motivation (76%) and focus difficulties (79%) following long gaming sessions of more than four hours, suggesting significant implication for performance optimization in professional contexts.
The investigation revealed substantial impacts on player performance capabilities, with relevance particularly for training effectiveness and competitive readiness. The analysis indicated potential benefits from strategic management of gaming exposure in professional and business environments. These findings enable the development of actionable evidence-based recommendations for player management protocols supporting performance optimization and player well-being while maintaining sustainable competitive advantages for esports teams and organizations.
The study contributes to the growing understanding of performance optimization in professional esports settings while identifying opportunities for further research and investigation. Recommendations emphasize implementation of sophisticated management protocols incorporating gaming exposure regulation and performance monitoring systems with practical relevance for Esports business administration. These approaches suggest promising directions for enhancing player performance capabilities while maintaining player well-being in professional esports environments.
