Liiketoiminnan kehittäminen maanrakennusalan yritykselle : case Kaiwur oy

Abstract

Tämän opinnäytetyön tavoitteena oli tutkia toimeksiantaja yrityksen, Kaiwur Oy:n liiketoimintaa, sekä tutkia missä osa-alueella toimeksiantaja yrityksellä olisi kehitettävää. Tähän valittiin Balanced scorecard, sen monipuolisuuden vuoksi. Näin ollen pystytään katsomaan yrityksen toiminnan kokonaisuutta. Tämä opinnäytetyö on tutkimuksellinen kehittämistyö, joka sisältää piirteitä kvalitatiivisesta tutkimuksesta. Teoriaosuudessa keskityttiin yrityksen balanced scorecardin periaatteisiin. Toiminnallisessa osuudessa keskityttiin yrityksen eri osa-alueisiin käyttäen balanced scorecardin näkökulmia. Työssä kerättiin tietoa haastattelemalla toimeksiantaja yrityksen toimitusjohtajaa, asiakkaita, yhteistyökumppaneita sekä osaa työntekijöistä. Lopputuloksena yritys sai kehittämisehdotuksia, joita se voi tulevaisuudessa hyödyntää. Näitten takia, työn tavoitteissa onnistuttiin.

The aim of this thesis was to investigate the business operations of the client company, Kaiwur Oy, and to investigate which areas the client company could develop. Balanced scorecard was chosen for this, because of its versatility. Thus, it is possible to look at the whole of the company's operations. This thesis is a research development work that contains features of qualitative research. The theoretical part focused on the principles of the company's balanced scorecard. The functional part focused on different areas of the company using the perspectives of the balanced scorecard. In the work, information was collected by interviewing the CEO of the commissioning company, customers, partners and some of the employees. As a result, the company received development proposals that it can use in the future. Because of these, the goals of the work were successful.
