The primary purpose of this study was to research a creativity model that could contribute to the improvement of employee productivity. All the more explicitly, the study explored how employee productivity (the dependent variable) was impacted by the independent variables' rewards, a climate conducive for creativity and innovation, employee productivity, confidence and performance intent and self-esteem.
The research can be divided into two parts. Theoretical and the methodology parts. The theoretical part was done through desktop research, the research read book that related to the subject of the research. Quantitative research was used for the methodology part. A questionnaire was sent to blue collar workers in and around Oulu. 26 respondents’ results were recorded, and conclusions were made from their responses.
The desktop research noted of the positive relationship between the dependent variable to the independent variables. In the research employee productivity is the dependent variable and self-esteem, performance intent, climate for creativity and innovation and creativity. The creativity and self-esteem of their employees were positively related to their employees’ performance intentions, while collectively these three variables were positively related to their employees’ productivity. The managerial implications of these and other findings are discussed in the study.
