The purpose of this study is to create and improve a career page for an organization with operations in food services and well-being. Both sectors are struggling with work force availability. The aim was to improve the attractiveness of the organization and to attract more relevant applicants for vacant positions. The literature examined for this thesis focused on employer branding, recruitment, organizational attractiveness and social media marketing. Using an action research approach, a career page and social media marketing activities were set up and analyzed. Both helped to improve the organizational attractiveness. Key performance indicators and targets were also set up to monitor the effects of the career page and the social media campaigns. The effects of these activities were also monitored by employer branding surveys that gave insight to the awareness and attractiveness as an employer of the organization in question. The overall awareness of the organization improved significantly with the help of this research and related activities. The overall attractiveness of the organization was measured and compared to other organizations in the same industries. The number of relevant applicants was improved, especially for the well-being services. The research also helped create guidelines for the organization to follow for employer branding activities.
