Tiivistelmä
The comparison of growth and adaptability between Populus tremula L. x Populus tremuloides Michx. and the native Finnish seedling Populus tremula. To understand the genotype and phenology of the same species for their application on bioremediation as phytoremediation. The experiment was conducted to analyze the development on the species on polluted soils with PAHs and natrium chloride. This is the first experiment conducted in Finland for the better understanding on how to utilize the ecosystems services provided by these species. As well bioremediation and the variety of the processes offered and the possibility on decreasing costs and providing aesthetical values.
