This study focuses on the development of employee skills and talent development in Chinese enterprises, from intention, implementation, and evaluation feedback. The research object is the process of talent development in Chinese Corporations. The study objective of this thesis is to explore the attitudes and strengths of Chinese enterprises toward talent development while attempting to analyze and illustrate the limitations and deficiencies in the process of talent development.
The thesis consists of a theoretical section and an empirical section. The theoretical section interprets to readers the current situation of Chinese enterprises and the theories of talent management models implemented by them, while the empirical section involves a Case Study of a Chinese Corporation. In order to gain a practical understanding of the views of local managers and employees on Talent Development, the author conducted in-depth interviews with several managers of Chinese enterprises and conducted a survey questionnaire on 300 employees. The result is that over 80% of the survey questionnaires have been effectively collected and 220 employee survey questionnaires have been selectively included in the relevant statistics. The conclusion involves a summary of the characteristics and tendencies of talent development in Chinese enterprises, as well as the impact on employees' self-development awareness from internal work atmosphere and external policies. Specifically, taking the enterprises in the case study as an example, the situation and difficulty of cooperation and competition within and outside the Chinese talent market will be exposed.
