The objective of this research is to establish a collection of best practices for knowledge sharing utilized in virtual interdisciplinary teams, encourage the organization to implement the best teamwork practices, and recommend next practices for business development.
A qualitative, semi-structured interview was chosen as a research method. Data were collected from core product team members with expertise on the subject.
The psychological safety of virtual meetings was perceived as good, the multidisciplinarity of the teams and effective collaboration with stakeholders were regarded as strengths.
The feedback culture and stakeholder communication should be developed and implemented as means to foster cohesiveness and trust-building.
