Tiivistelmä
Common corporate software development environments’ properties and their representation in the educational materials in sources such as UAS courses, mainstream video sharing platforms and others have worrisome mismatches that affect junior software developers’ first months of corporate internship phases. False expectations and inaccurate simulations of future workloads that are based on partial or incomplete data of the available content or skewed proportions of said content are causing negative experiences during transition points from school environment to corporate environments. Professional growth of junior software developers is affected by misaligned vectors of educational facilities and future corporate positions. This work is trying to identify the problem on a general level and provide some solutions that could help realign the processes happening in several independent environments and positively enhance technical proficiency of junior developers, making them valuable professional on the job market.
