The goal of the research was to provide an extensive understanding of financial control and the different stages of financial control processes to readers. The central emphasis was on explaining the functioning of the financial control process and how the process is significant in guaranteeing the precision and trustworthiness of financial information. The thesis explored essential ideas, methodologies, and instruments utilized in financial control, providing readers with the understanding necessary to manage financial control procedures proficiently and effectively.
The thesis is divided into two main points - financial control theory and financial control processes. Financial control theory covers the definition, types, objectives, and tools of financial control. The second main point, financial control processes, involves several stages, including detecting financial statement fraud, correcting deviations, assessing financial performance, forecasting financial statements, and valuing the firm.
