The aim of the thesis was to explore the feasibility and potential of a kitchen rental company that provides a unique and flexible space for cooking and enjoying meals. The company utilizes recycled sea containers that are repurposed into fully equipped kitchens with solar panels on the roof for sustainable energy. The target markets include friend groups, corporate clients, and event planners. Another objective of the thesis was to explore the potential for offering cooking lessons to a new customer segment of the kitchen rental company. A market analysis was conducted to assess the potential demand and competition for a rental kitchen company. Based on the findings, a Business Model Canvas was filled to outline the key elements of the business strategy. A SWOT analysis was utilized to appraise the internal factors that could affect the business idea. Different social media platforms were evaluated to find out the most suitable ones for the business idea.
The results suggest that the kitchen rental company has significant potential for success, as it offers flexible and sustainable option for a variety of customers. The thesis provides valuable insights for entrepreneurs who are interested in launching a unique and sustainable business in the food industry.
