The background and starting point of this work are the challenges of delivery punctuality at an electrification factory. The goal of the work is to find models for risk management and for the processes of material procurement and purchasing operations. The research material for the work has been compiled in collaboration with the help of the procurement and purchasing teams. The process flow diagram and PFMEA have been created as a result of several brain-storming sessions. The most central findings of the work have been the challenges related to communication and documentation; the lack of systematicity and clear rules and the rush, as well as systematic and systematic participation in product development projects is incom-plete. In conclusion, based on this thesis, I can say that there is a need for continuous im-provement in both teams. There is a clear need for systematic and clear communication and documentation for both teams. Clear and simple instructions should be created and updated as necessary. There is also a need for at least annual process inspections.
