Metaverse is a new digital space where the users can interact with digital platforms with the access of an avatar. With every new technology, there is something new to explore. This thesis aims to discover the concept of metaverse, what unique features it has and how marketers can use these features to be pioneers in their field in the ever-changing of technology.
The present thesis aims to examine the potential of the Metaverse as a marketing platform, what techniques can be utilized to engage with a brand’s target audience in ways that have not been done before by conducting a qualitative research method. The findings of this research will contribute to the understanding of marketing opportunities that Metaverse offers to any business that wants to expand their target audience to a whole new level. The findings can be benefited by marketers in any field that is currently doing digital marketing and willing to explore new ways to engage with customers. The thesis is also for any individual or any type of organization that is interested in learning more about marketing in the metaverse. This thesis is dedicated to the avant-garde individuals who are early adopters and future trailblazers of their industries.
The thesis finding gathers new techniques that can be benefited in the marketing industry in metaverse, which allows the companies to connect with generation Z and generation A. The thesis also finds the way data can be utilized in the metaverse marketing.
