Tiivistelmä
This product-base thesis has been planned for a fast-growing B2B company based in Finland that manufactures and designs DC fast charging solutions for electric vehicles.
The primary objective of this project was to develop a communication plan to enhance the ongoing business partnership with Italian stakeholders. The author has been working at the Case Company for seven months. During this time, it has been observed that communication between the company and its partners could be improved. It was decided to focus exclusively on Italian business partners due to two factors: the author's Italian heritage and the complexity of focusing on all partners.
The thesis consists of a theoretical and empirical component. The first part of this thesis is about the research that has been done on the topic, which is based on the literature review, an analysis of cultural comparisons between Finland and Italy using the Hosftede’s six dimentions model, and the challenges in a business partnership. In the second part, the study adopts a qualitative approach in-depth interview and observations regarding the current communication between the Company Cases' italian business partners.
Following the review of these findings, a plan of action was formulated to develop an effective communication system with Italian partners. This plan would help the company and its italian partners to facilitate their communication, information flow, and collaboration between each other. The study focuses exclusively on the Italian market, and communication between the case company and its Italian business partners. The commissioning party has reviewed the plan and will provide feedback.
