Huboo Technologies is a fulfilment company based in Bristol, United Kingdom. They have grown rapidly in the last year and frequently celebrate the successes of their employees. They are a people focused company that wants to amplify unity and social interactions which is shown by having events outside of office hours. Summer Staff Party is their annual staff event which is the project of this thesis. It was held on July 1st 2022 for 250
people.
The reason for conducting this thesis was that it is the first written data on the case company’s events. They can use this data for future events within the company. This can also be for students who are looking for guidance on the subject.
This bachelor’s thesis provides a theoretical basis to Event Management and reflects that to the event project in question. The project itself will be explained thoroughly step by step including the problems that were faced. Later on, the project includes the questions and answers of four interviews and one feedback survey, both which give further insight on the success of the event. A theoretical framework is included in the chapter to emphasise the importance of feedback in improving events and to understand how the survey itself can be improved. Lastly, there are the writers own remarks and suggestions for improvement.
