Finding suitable dealers is a key for an internationalizing company relying on a dealer-based market entry into a new foreign market. This Thesis aims to support the commissioning company by suggesting possible partners for cooperation.
To be able to search for dealers in strategically important areas. The German market was examined for the geographical location of future projects in the application field of the commissioning companies’ product. For this, data was collected in public sources of German ministries.
After segmenting the German market into three areas. Data of potential dealers was collected through different websites and other companies’ dealer networks. Thus, potential dealers were identified and evaluated.
The findings show one potential dealer for each identified area in Germany.
