The goal of this thesis was to create a plan how to make a company’s development process more agile in order to get the changes and bug fixes more efficiently to the end customer. At first, the thesis presents a brief history of software development processes and what the current trends in the industry are. The current trends were compared to the company’s current methodology and processes.
In these days, it is important that companies automate as much work as they can to be able to focus only on the things that bring value.
There were some problems found in the company’s current processes, such as too big task sizes and too big packages are being deployed at once, and a plan to tackle those problems was created based on these observations, including a way how to take smaller packages more often to the production. The company will use the plan later to improve their processes.
