The Latvian manufacturing commissionaire company has created a strategic aim to organise an international business directly with a new product line on Poland's market. This thesis created an analysis of the internationalisation risks. Furthermore, it determined the most appropriate entry mode to the market of Poland following the risks assessment and strategic vision of the company. As a result of this study, the research shows the financial modeling of the new business direction. Furthermore, it presents the financial information regarding the needed investments to launch business processes internationally and the financial result of business activities. The outcomes of this research will be used for further application to the company's strategic development plan.
This research was based on an in-depth interview with the owner of the commissionaire company. As a result of this data gathering, the key topics were formulated for the company's decision-making process of launching the business direction. Moreover, the data collection was supported by a guided interview of machinery suppliers for quoting inventory needed for the company to start manufacturing processes.
Moreover, for risk assessment, the thesis included a PEST analysis comparing the Latvian and Polish markets environment. Hofstede's 6-D model of countries' social factors that impact their business environment was also used.
