Äänikirjanlukijan ammattitaidon anti lauluntekijyyteen

Abstract

Jenni Sainion opinnäytetyö käsittelee äänikirjanlukijan ammattitaitoa ja kuvaa sitä taustana lauluntekijyydelle. Tutkimusote on autoetnografinen ja nojaa affektin, intensiteetin ja intuition käsitteiden tarjoamiin mahdollisuuksiin luoda syvempää ymmärrystä aiheesta.

Affektiteoria korostaa kehollisuuden, kokemuksellisuuden ja intensiteettitajun merkitystä taiteen ja kulttuurin tutkimukselle. Intuitio on termi henkilön sisäisille kokemuksille tai vaikutelmille, joista tämä saa rationaalisen syy-seuraussuhteen logiikasta poikkeavaa tietoa.

Työ tutkii sitä, millaisia valmiuksia äänikirjanlukijan ammattitaito on antanut lauluntekijyyteen. Tutkimuksellisena tuloksena työ tuottaa uutta tietoa siitä, miten kokemus näiden kahden aihealueen yhtymäkohdista tulee ymmärretyksi etenkin laulujen sanoittamisen taidon kehittymisenä.

This thesis discusses an audiobook narrator’s expertise and describes it as a background to songwriting. The research excerpt is autoethnographic and relies on the possibilities of the concepts of affect, intensity and intuition to create deeper understanding of the topic.

The affect theory emphasizes the significance of bodily and experiential impressions and the importance of the sense of intensity for the research of arts and culture. Intuition is a term for a person’s inner experiences or impressions by which one can get information that differs from the logic of a rational causal connection.

This thesis examines what kind of transferable skills the audiobook narrator’s expertise has given to songwriting. As a research result the thesis produces new information about how the experience of the shared traits between these two fields of expertise can be understood particularly by gaining skills in writing song lyrics.
