WordPress-sivuston toteutus : case: Mulligan Concept Suomi

Abstract

Opinnäytetyön projekti alkoi asiakasyrityksen toimeksiantona. Mulligan Concept Suomi tarvitsi luottoa herättävät sivut, jotka palvelevat mainontaa ja kurssimyyntiä. Sivusto toteutettiin WebAulassa. Suunnittelun teki asiakasyritys ja WebAula Oy. Suunnittelun jälkeen pääsin mukaan sivuston tekoon WordPress ohjelmistolla. WordPress on suosituin sisällönhallintajärjestelmä, jolla on tehty jo yli 43 % maailman verkkosivuista. Asiakasyritys halusi täydet oikeudet sivustolle, joten ne luotiin WordPress.org ohjelmalla, joka vaatii Domainin ja Hostauksen. WebAulasta löytyi kaikki tarvittava, joten asiakkaan ei niistä tarvinnut huolehtia. WordPress.org -ohjelmalla tehdyn sivuston omistajalla, eli tässä tapauksessa asiakkaalla on täydet oikeudet sivuston ylläpitoon, ja sen vuoksi voi myös tehdä itse rajattomasti muutoksia. Opin paljon sivustoa tehdessä asiakaskohtaisesta projektista. Aikaisempaa kokemusta minulla on vähän. Pääsin kuitenkin hyvin mukaan tekemään sivustoa. Sivusto on responsiivinen, selvä, ja palvelee asiakasyrityksen kurssimyyntiä. Tavoitteisiin päästiin ulkoasussa sekä aikatavoitteissa. Sivuston piti olla julkaisukelpoinen huhtikuun alkuun mennessä. Sivusto julkaistiin 4.4.2022.

The project of this bachelor’s thesis started as assignment for a client company. Mulligan Concept Finland needed a trustworthy website which serve advertising and promote the sale of courses. The site was implemented in WebAula Oy. The design was done by the client company and WebAula. After designing, I became involved in making the site with WordPress software. WordPress is the most popular Content Management System which has already been used for making over 43% websites of the world. The client company wanted full rights to the site, so they were created using WordPress.org, which requires a domain and hosting. Everything needed was found from WebAula so the client didn’t have to worry about them. The owner of the site in this case the customer, has full rights and can therefore make unlimited changes to the site. I learned a lot when creating the site as customer-specific project. I had little previous experience. However, I got involved well in making the site. The site is responsive, clear, and serves the client’s course sales. The goals of time and layout were achieved. The site had to be publishable by the beginning of April. The site was released on April 4, 2022.
