Studies show that, today’s working environment requires high quality performance and competitive challenges for employees that can produce stress. This stressful environment for employees was noticed by the author, while studying at LAB University of Applied Science.
This thesis report main purpose is to analysis the impact of stress in the productivity of employees and stressful environment of higher education and finding out the way of solution by collecting data via qualitative research approach. The data is collected by semi-structured interview then data analysis with the direct quotes of the interviewees in this study.
The key findings are the highlighted theme from data analysis which persistently distinguished the findings and introduce the categories to the readers and answer the research question.
In this study during whole process of interview analysis it becomes clear as conclusion, that stress doesn’t come from workload or deadline, but the environment can be the stressor. The elements are Trust, Micromanagement, Bureaucratic process, Frequent changes in system.
