Tiivistelmä
Opinnäytetyön tavoitteena on tuottaa keskenmenon kokeneille vertaistukiryhmätoimintaa. Vertaistukiryhmä vastaa palvelutarjonnassa olevaan aukkoon. Näin ollen opinnäytetyön on kehittämispainotteinen. Opinnäytetyön suunnittelu aloitettiin kesällä vuonna 2018. Toiminnan laajuus muuttui suunnitteluvaiheen aikana. Suomessa ei ole keskenmenon kokeneille kohdennettua psykososiaalista palvelua. Simpukka Ry:ltä saatiin toiminnalle tila vuonna 2019. Muulta osin toiminta toteutettiin ilman yhteyttä olemassa olevaan palvelutarjontaan.
Opinnäytetyön tarkoituksena on lisätä tietoisuutta keskenmenon kokemuksen vaikutuksista ihmisen psyykkiseen ja sosiaaliseen hyvinvointiin. Tähän tarkoitukseen hyödynnetään opinnäytetyön raportin lisäksi blogia nimeltä ”Kun jarrusukat pettää”. Blogiin on kirjoitettu keskenmenon vaikutuksesta ihmisen elämään teoreettisen tiedon ja kokemustiedon pohjalta. Syksyllä 2020 blogista kerättiin palautetta Webropol-alustalla tehdyn kyselyn avulla. Kyselystä kävi ilmi, että lukijoista suurimman osan ajatusmaailma on muuttunut blogin lukemisen myötä.
Syksyllä 2020 Simpukka Ry:n tiloissa Tampereella järjestettiin keskenmenon kokeneille vertaistukiryhmä tapaamisia. Tapaamiset pystyttiin järjestämään kasvotusten vuonna 2020 vallinneesta koronaviruksen aiheuttamasta pandemiasta huolimatta. Viimeisellä tapaamiskerralla osallistujilta kerättiin palautetta tapaamisista. Palautteista kävi ilmi, että toiminta oli vastannut osallistujien tarpeisiin ja sitä suositellaan myös muille keskenmenon kokeneille. Syksyn aikana kokoontunut vartaistukiryhmä jatkaa tapaamisia itsenäisesti toimivana ryhmänä. The purpose of the thesis was to produce peer support activity for people who have experienced miscarriage. The peer support group will answer a demand in the services. In the fall of 2020, feedback was gathered about the blog with an inquiry conducted on the Webropol platform.
