In recent years, gamification has been gaining more popularity thanks to these advantages, and developers are the ones who should acknowledge this key factor before developing a new mobile application. The main objective of this thesis is to determine some of the major elements developers need to consider when applying gamification in developing mobile applications. Additionally, this study also points out what technical sides should be included in a gamified mobile application based on the data collection from the test case products. In conclusion, the thesis presents some impacts the main factors of gamification have on non-game activities. Moreover, the study also indicates some potential features of gamification implementation in developing mobile applications.
