Utvecklingsarbete:
Utvecklingsarbetet presenteras i kapitel 9.
There will be a new national care classification system in Finland within the next year. The goal for the pilot ward participating in the eNNI project is to introduce the new classification system on the ward. The authors have observed the staff on the pilot ward, how they do documentation today and their attitudes towards a new system. The aims for the thesis are to follow the changes on the pilot ward, how they are done and the staff's attitudestowards the alteration.
As data collection methods, the authors have used questionnaires, observations and previous research carried out on this topic. Earlier research has shown that attitudes towards change often are negative initially. In the thesis, the authors present similar results in the case of thechange that will occur on the pilot ward.
Development project:
In their thesis, the respondents wrote about the change process of the eNNI project. In the development project, the respondents have studied more facts about change and on the basis of this created an ideal model for change. The development project is presented in chapter 9 of the thesis and answers research question four, what is the ideal model for alteration?
As data collection methods, the respondents have used the literature and previous research that has been done on this subject.
