Tiivistelmä
The purpose of this thesis was to introduce the reader to the activities of Savonia UAS yTiimi, and to conduct a research on how the former participants of yTiimi felt about their time spent with it. The background of yTiimi is revealed, as well as current information is given regarding entrepreneurship in Finland. The choice of the research method and the interview questions as well as the reasons behind them are explained in the thesis.
The interviews were conducted in the fall of 2017. Since all the participants were Finnish, the interviews were conducted in Finnish and the author translated the responses into English.
The results of these interviews indicated that the participants of yTiimi were generally happy with the projects they had, and with the experiences they shared. Many of them gained a positive perspective on entrepreneurship and felt that taking part helped with their professional lives even if they did not become entrepreneurs themselves.
The negative feedback was mostly about facilities such as uncomfortable seats and not having enough cooperation with local businesses.
