The thesis was written about efficient management in Finland as compared to Cameroon and about the extent to which cloud computing systems can enhance this efficiency. The aim of the thesis there-fore is to compare the resulting impact of cloud computing centres on the level of efficiency of the management of higher education resources in Finland and in Cameroon.
The research for this thesis was carried out by the help of books, journals, e-books, websites and online material. The report has strictly been written using secondary sources of data. In using secondary data sources, information gotten for the thesis was developed through qualitative research. The research design was done using the case study model. The Centria University of Applied Sciences in Finland and the University of Bamenda in Cameroon are highlighted as the main case studies. In this vein, a SWOT analysis was done for each of the case organizations and the research findings, conclusion and recommendations made about possibilities of enhancing management efficiency using cloud computing systems.
From this research, it was found that the use of cloud computing systems is growing in Finland just like in Cameroon, however, the level of efficiency of management of higher education resources in Finland has been found to be relatively higher than in Cameroon.
