Detta arbete är en kvantitativ studie med syftet att ta reda på om det finns vissa processer inom att starta och driva restaurangverksamhet som upplevs mer komplicerade än andra i landskapet Åland för dess krögare.
Bisyftet med undersökningen var att ta reda på hur utbildningsnivån påverkar de upplevda komplikationerna med verksamheten hos åländska krögare som har utbildning inom restaurangbranschen.
Teorin i arbetet beskriver de processer som ingår i att starta och driva restaurangverksamhet.
Undersökningen genomfördes med hjälp av webbenkäter på personer som driver restaurangverksamhet i landskapet Åland.
Undersökningens resultat visar att vissa delar inom restaurangverksamheten upplevs mer komplicerade än andra vid dess utförande. Skillnader framkom även när branschutbildade jämfördes utifrån deras utbildningsnivå. This work is a quantitative study aimed to find out if there are certain processes in starting and running a restaurant that is perceived as more complex than others in the province of Aland.
The secondary purpose of the survey was to find out how the level of education affects the perceived complications of restaurant owners on the Aland Islands of those who have training in the catering industry.
The theory of the work describes the processes involved in starting and running a restaurant.
The survey was conducted with the help of online questionnaires to persons who run restaurants on the Aland Islands.
The survey results show that some parts of starting and running a restaurant are perceived as more complicated than others in their execution. Differences also emerged when industry-trained respondents were compared based on their level of education.
