Perehdytyskansio RK-Asunnot Saunalahti

Abstract

Opinnäytetyön tavoitteena oli tuottaa perehdytyskansio kehitysvammaisten ryhmäkotiin RK-Asunnot Saunalahteen uusille työntekijöille sekä sijaisille. Tässä toiminnallisessa opinnäytetyössä tuotettiin ensin produktina perehdytyskansio ja sen jälkeen raportti. Produktin taustalla oli työyhteisön tarve uudelle perehdytyskansiolle ja kohderyhmänä olivat erityisesti uudet työntekijät ja sijaiset. Etenkään jälkimmäisen ryhmän perehdytykseen ei kiinnitetä kovin paljoa huomiota. Vaikka perehdytys on määritelty työtä koskevissa laeissa ja perehdytys on iso osa työtä ja perehdytykseen tulee panostaa läpi työuran. Perehdytyksen merkitys on suuri niin työnantajan kuin työntekijän kannalta. Kunnon perehdytyksellä saadaan sitoutettua työntekijät työpaikkaan pitkäksi ajaksi.

Raportin teoreettisessa viitekehyksessä käytiin läpi perehdytyksen ja toiminnallisen opinnäytetyön lisäksi produktin kannalta keskeisiä käsitteitä, kuten kehitysvammaisuutta, autismin kirjoa, kehitysvammaisten asumispalveluita, itsemääräämisoikeutta sekä yksilökeskeistä työotetta. Raportissa on myös kerrottu lyhyesti Rinnekoti-Säätiöstä ja sen toiminnasta. Liitteeksi raporttiin on liitetty perehdytyskansion sisällysluettelo ja esimerkki sen sisällöstä.

The aim of this thesis was to produce a guidebook for RK-Asunnot Saunalahti which is a group home for people with disabilities. The guidebook was aimed at new and stand-in workers. This functional thesis was implemented in two phases. The first phase was to create the guidebook and second phase was to write a report about the work.

This thesis arose because the guidebook that was in use had become outdated with inaccurate information; therefore a new one was required. The guidebook functions as a workplace orientation that is required under Finnish law and is very important when working as careers. Workplace orientation does not stop after a few first weeks; it is a constant process that should last the whole of a person’s working life. Well implemented orientation has a huge significance for employees and employers. When orientation is done well, employees will stay longer working an employer.

The theoretic framework of the thesis describes workplace orientation and the principles of a functional thesis. In addition, key concepts of the guidebook are dealt with: - people with disabilities, autism, housing services, self-determination and a self-oriented approach to working. The thesis also briefly describes the Rinnekoti-Säätiö and its activities. The table of contents and an example of the guidebooks contents are included as an Annex of this thesis.
