The primary objective of this thesis project was to elicit a range of options suitable for entrepreneurs who attempt to create an online business. This investigative approach was materialized by explaining the current situation of how to establish an e-commerce. The thesis can be considered as a guideline but every entrepreneur is advised to further investigate the most relevant aspects for their specific case.
The primary objective of this thesis project was to elicit a range of options suitable for entrepreneurs who attempt to create an online business. This investigative approach was materialized by explaining the current situation of how to establish an e-commerce. The thesis can be considered as a guideline but every entrepreneur is adviced to further investigate the most relevant aspects for their specific case.
The relevance of the thesis topic was accumulated during the year 2020 due to COVID-19 outbreak. A great number of companies decided to introduce an online shop as a tool to mitigate the loss of sales from physical shop resulting from the temporary closure or limitations in business activity as laid down by statutory restrictions due to the pandemic.
Another section of the thesis elaborates on the plan of the author entailing projections to bring to Finland an innovative idea and sell it through an e-commerce business. The choices of the author are presented together with the financial plan of the company.
To conclude, entrepreneurs may decide to pursue options suitable specifically for their business idea and then proceed based on resources available to them. Future amendments of the law are possible, hence the recommendation is to check the latest version of the official documentation after reading the information collected in the thesis. Furthermore, the author recommends entrepreneurs to explore in more depth also other available avenues since this thesis presents only the most widely used options.
