Samtidigt fanns det vissa delar av teorin som man idag kunde kalla till myter eller gamla traditioner China is growing and developing economically every year, and on many products you can find the text "made in China". The products are often cheap when, among other things, the Chinese currency, the Yuan has a low rate and it favors Chinese exports. But how should one act in order to have a successful negotiation and get a satisfied business partner in China?
The aim of this work was to explain China's company and business culture from a foreign point of view and perhaps dispel the most common myths. This thesis should be read as a guide if one wishes to do business with Chinese companies.
The research was conducted through five personal interviews carried out between September 2014 and April 2015. The interviewees were representatives from various international companies or organizations in Ostrobothnia, and they all had some experience of the Chinese business culture.
The results of the research showed that the theory had some connection with reality. Nevertheless, there were some elements of the theory that could today be called old myths or traditions.
