Baserat på resultatet presenterar vi ett tio punkters förslag till förbättring Optima has trained both sheet metal workers, welders and machinists since the year 1963. We are now facing a major change in vocational education and training and making this study in order to meet this change in the best way possible.
As a starting point for the study, we have the Ministry of education and culture, the interim report regarding the 2018 reform of upper secondary Vocational education. Vocational education based on skills and starts from the individual, where all are offered quality vocational training corresponding to the skills and needs of the individual and that are implemented in different ways.
Our purpose with the study being to clarify what is expected of training within the machine and metal education in the future. Our preferred methodology are a combination of qualitative and quantitative method.
The results of the study show that the companies would like to see that Optima focuses on automation and new technology, but also a more widespread cooperation between school and companies. Based on the results, we present a ten-point proposal for improvement.
